Putin Rejects Zelensky’s Proposal for Miami G20 Talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s proposal to meet at the G20 summit in Miami. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said such a meeting was “impossible” and repeated Moscow’s position that any face-to-face talks must take place in Russia’s capital. Zelenskyy said he would attend the December summit if Putin were present, arguing that direct discussions should focus on achieving results. The Kremlin has not confirmed whether Putin will attend the gathering in Miami later this year.
