Of course, “unlimited” does not exist without conditions. Eligibility rules, service fees, and regional availability still shape how the promise is experienced. Yet even within those constraints, the shift matters. It signals that support is no longer framed as a temporary safety net, but as an ongoing relationship.

In a market obsessed with what comes next, a plan built around staying feels almost countercultural. It suggests that the future of hardware may depend less on constant reinvention and more on the willingness to keep what already exists working, again and again.

A phone repaired once feels rescued. A phone repaired endlessly feels intended.
