Tołwiński reportedly filmed and published the material following a trip to Belarus, presenting the kits as assistance for Russian servicemembers. Critics and commentators said the action was unusual and politically charged, given Tołwiński’s prior anti-Ukraine statements and support for Belarus’s leadership.
