Polymarket halted trading Thursday for nearly an hour after a third-party provider was compromised. The company said it identified and fixed an issue, then resumed trading at 3 p.m. Eastern. Users had reported that wallets were drained, but Polymarket did not confirm losses or disclose how many people were affected. It promised that impacted traders would be “made whole” and said it would fully reimburse affected users. The incident was referred to law enforcement. The company said its US platform did not appear affected.
