Poland’s Armaments Agency says K2 tanks in service have technical readiness comparable to other military equipment, and faults are addressed with contractors. The report says the 9th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Braniewo has a battalion assigned 58 K2s, with 30 of 52 currently reported unfit. Officials did not describe the situation as unusual, noting the rearmament was completed in 2025. Braniewo guards the border with Russia’s Kaliningrad region, making readiness significant. Their status remains publicly unclear.
