Poland Provided Aid to Defend Kyiv, Zelensky Says

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Poland provided ammunition and undisclosed assistance to help Ukraine defend Kyiv against Russian attacks. He spoke on Oct. 15 during a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the sidelines of an EU summit in Brussels. Zelenskyy said Polish ammunition was used by Ukraine’s anti-aircraft guns and hinted that other support would remain confidential. He thanked Poland as Tusk pledged Ukraine could count on support from Poland and the EU. Details remained undisclosed publicly.
