Pentagon Confirms Nearly 100 Soldiers Wounded Since US-Iran Fighting Renewed; Majority Back on Duty

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed that nearly 100 U.S. service members have been wounded “to some extent” since renewed fighting with Iran began. Parnell said the vast majority of injuries were minor concussions and that 96% of those hurt have returned to duty. He added that the Pentagon’s database would be updated to reflect new information on wounded and killed personnel.
