Pardoned January 6 Participant Charged Over Alleged Threats to Kill Federal Judges

Cleveland Grover Meredith Jr., 58, was charged with interstate communication of threats after allegedly posting on Facebook that all federal judges involved in January 6 cases would be executed. An FBI affidavit says the post was made in late April and directed at judges in Washington, D.C. Meredith was arrested Monday, November 2. He was previously sentenced to 28 months in prison for threatening to shoot then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and received a presidential pardon with other January 6 defendants. The new allegation remains unproven.
