Palantir’s European operations in spotlight over “tax take” as researchers allege profit shifting to the US

Palantir’s Europe-linked government work is drawing scrutiny after tax researchers and trade-union critics alleged the company shifts profits to the United States, where it faces little or no federal income tax. A study cited by European outlets estimates a “tax gap” of at least around €12m, based on how Palantir’s European economic activity is reported versus where profits are booked. Critics argue European taxpayers fund services while the company contributes minimally through corporate taxes. Palantir disputes the claims and says it pays taxes reflecting activity in each country.
