Over 30 Injured After Factory Bus Plunges Into Canal in Thailand’s Chachoengsao

CHACHOENGSAO, THAILAND — More than 30 factory workers were injured on Monday morning, September 7, 2026 when the company bus carrying them lost control and plunged off a road into a roadside canal in the Bang Pakong district of Chachoengsao province.

The accident occurred during the peak morning commute as the bus was transporting employees to an industrial estate in the area. According to local police and rescue workers, the vehicle veered sharply off the main roadway, crossed a shoulder, and overturned directly into the water-filled canal. The impact crushed the front cabin of the bus and trapped several passengers inside the submerged vehicle.
