One person was killed and at least four others were injured in a drive-by shooting in Trappes, in the Yvelines district west of Paris, French officials said Friday. Mayor Ali Rabeh told French broadcaster BFMTV that a gunman fired from a car and appeared to shoot randomly. One injured person was a 12-year-old girl, he said. A suspect has been arrested. Authorities have not announced a motive. France’s national anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office said it was monitoring the case, but had not taken it over.
