Norway Parliament Approves $2 Billion Artillery Plan

Norway has selected the ChunMoo system from the South Korean defense company Hanwha, which has been chosen over the US-made HIMARS from Lockheed Martin, due to its impressive range of up to five hundred kilometers. Peter Frolich, the spokesperson for the Conservative opposition, emphasized the significance of these long-range systems, stating that they can reach deep behind enemy lines, which is crucial in modern warfare. As European countries increase their defense budgets in response to political tensions, Norway's move underscores a shift towards a more proactive defense strategy in the Arctic.
