Trump as "the greatest friend that the State of Israel has ever had in the White House," delivering a powerful commendation during a special session of the Knesset on Monday. The prime minister’s effusive praise focused particularly on President Trump’s recent diplomatic efforts, which Netanyahu credited with securing an international proposal that led to a ceasefire, the release of hostages, and a path toward ending the conflict. Addressing the U.S. President directly in the chamber, Netanyahu shared his long perspective on the relationship between the two nations' leaders: "I have to tell you, I've seen a lot of American presidents. I've seen a lot in the time that I've been here, and I've been here quite a lot of time. I've never seen anyone move the world so quickly, so decisively, so resolutely as our friend, President Donald J. Trump." The Prime Minister’s remarks underscored Trump's "unmatched global leadership" in garnering support from a vast majority of the Arab world for the peace plan, which Netanyahu called a "miraculous" feat. He added that the President's actions have "opened the door to a historic expansion of peace in our region and beyond."
