A French Rafale fighter jet stationed in the NATO Baltic Air Policing mission shot down a drone after it entered Latvian airspace, Latvia’s military said. Authorities had issued an alert in parts of eastern Latvia, telling people to take shelter, until the threat ended when the drone was destroyed. The drone was described as a foreign unmanned aerial vehicle that crossed into Latvia due to “Russian electromagnetic warfare.” No injuries or damage were reported
