NPS, Yellowstone Forever and Tallgrass, a Blackstone Infrastructure portfolio company, announced a $105 million Conservation and Stewardship Fund for Yellowstone National Park. The fund will support conservation and research, infrastructure and visitor experiences, and opportunities for Wyoming students and communities to visit the park. A $35 million visitor education center at Norris Geyser Basin is among the projects planned. The National Park Service will retain authority over park management decisions. The gift is the largest single private contribution in National Park Service history.
