Balochistan, Pakistan—The collision occurred near the Kalat section of the N-25 National Highway on Sunday afternoon. A passenger van traveling at high speed collided head-on with a cargo truck coming from the opposite direction. The force of the impact left the van a mangled wreck on the side of the road.

The wreckage was cleared by late evening, and the highway has been reopened to limited traffic. The police have filed an initial report naming the van driver as the primary party at fault for the reckless maneuver. The investigation will continue through the coming days.
