Elon Musk pledged Monday to give one SpaceX share to “every kid in America” next year, adding that the plan would be “the first of many.” He offered few details, including what age range qualifies or how the shares would reach children. The pledge followed Anthropic’s announcement that it would commit 5% of its shares to a public-benefit fund. Based on roughly 73 million U.S. children under 18 and SpaceX’s recent share price, the proposed gift could be worth about $10.66 billion.
