Multiple New British Frigates Taking Shape in Rosyth

Multiple new British frigates are taking shape at Rosyth Dockyard as construction advances on the Royal Navy’s Type 31 programme. Work is underway on the first ship, HMS Venturer, with major structural development in the build hall, while HMS Active is also emerging alongside it. The programme represents the next generation of Royal Navy general-purpose frigates, designed to support missions at sea and replace the older Type 23 fleet.
