Mooresville police officer accused of misusing Flock Safety cameras

Mooresville Police Chief Ron Campurciani said officer Elizabeth Snowman accessed Flock Safety cameras 31 times for personal use. Investigators found she used the system to obtain information and track her boyfriend’s ex-wife, with officials noting at least two accesses while she was off-duty. An arrest warrant alleged she accessed cameras to get information about the ex-wife’s vehicle. Police said officers must enter a reason for searches and that audits are conducted every 30 days. Officials charged Snowman with accessing computers and said they are reviewing additional potential misuse cases.
