A huge wildfire in Drammen, about 30 miles west of Oslo, has destroyed more than 100 homes, making it Norway’s largest blaze in modern times. Hundreds of residents were evacuated from the Krokstadelva area, with no reported missing people. Around 80 firefighters responded, supported by helicopters that dropped water on the flames. Authorities said the fire was still burning but being brought under control. Investigators are working to determine how the fire started, amid dry, hot conditions that helped it spread quickly.
