A Belfast man was seriously injured after being bitten by a shark off the coast of County Cork, according to BBC reports. The incident happened while he was deep-sea angling and occurred when he was trying to unhook a shark. The crew provided first aid and transferred him to a lifeboat for further treatment, with Crosshaven RNLI volunteers responding. He was taken to Cork University Hospital conscious and able to climb aboard without help.
