A pre-dawn drone attack over the Ukrainian capital triggered widespread fires across an industrial area, sending thick plumes of dark smoke billowing over the Kyiv skyline.

The overnight air strike targeted key infrastructure across the region, triggering air raid alerts throughout the city.
