Yuri Ushakov, an aide to President Vladimir Putin, said China has begun preparations for a summit with U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. He said the meeting could be added to the November APEC summit program in Shenzhen if circumstances allow. The idea was discussed during Putin’s October 21 meeting with envoy Steve Witkoff. The Kremlin says none of the three countries has ruled it out, but Beijing has not confirmed the plan and no agreement exists.
