Thousands of students and job aspirants in Jharkhand have intensified protests in Ranchi, marching toward the state assembly to demand reforms after allegations of corruption and exam irregularities. The unrest has been ongoing for more than two weeks despite talks and some government concessions. Protesters say a preliminary civil service exam held by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission was compromised, pointing to alleged answer-sheet leaks and manipulated results. The CID is investigating and has arrested multiple people, while protesters want a federal probe too.
