Italy says it is reintroducing border controls with Spain for one month following a mass influx of migrants into Ceuta from Morocco. The government says the move suspends Schengen border-free travel for targeted checks on non-EU nationals arriving from Spain by air or sea, while not affecting travel for EU citizens. Italy also plans to strengthen controls with France. Spain says many of the roughly 50,000+ migrants who entered Ceuta have returned voluntarily to Morocco.
