Dozens of masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians harvesting olives in Abu Falah, a West Bank village, on Friday, burning trees and throwing rocks. Witnesses said about 80 settlers took part, some carrying gas canisters and using slings. Palestinian medics reported two people injured, including Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine, who was taken to hospital in Ramallah and was in stable condition. Israeli soldiers arrived and fired tear gas, witnesses said. The Israeli military said troops fired warning shots and shots toward someone they believed posed a threat.
