Iran’s Leader Threatens Response Without ‘Geographic Limits’ as Middle East Diplomacy Continues

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei warned that any threat from the United States or Israel would prompt an immediate response without “geographic limits,” according to Iranian state media. The warning came as diplomatic efforts continued to prevent renewed war. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said mediators had discussed a proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days, while Tehran awaited Washington’s response. Separately, Syrian and Jordanian officials planned talks on border security following recent Jordanian strikes in Syria, which both countries said caused casualties.
