Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei warned U.S. and Israeli officials against launching further attacks, according to a statement reported Saturday. Speaking to senior military commanders, he said any threat would be met with an “immediate, impactful and geographically unrestricted response.” Khamenei also directed commanders to update Iran’s target list to include American and Israeli assets. The warning comes amid renewed concerns that Washington and Jerusalem could resume military action after elections. Diplomatic efforts involving Qatar and Pakistan are continuing, but no lasting agreement has been reached.
