Iran’s military spokesman, Ibrahim Zolfaghari, warned that if President Donald Trump carries out a threat to strike Iranian infrastructure, Tehran will destroy all infrastructure in the region—so thoroughly that “not a trace” would remain. He dismissed the US position as “empty” and said Iran has restrained itself, but would respond with a “greater power” strike if attacked. Zolfaghari also described the Strait of Hormuz as an “inviolable red line” for Iran.
