Due to the extreme heat and rapid fire progression, incident commanders initiated a defensive strategy, establishing perimeter hose lines to prevent the blaze from encroaching on neighboring properties while combating the core of the fire.

Emergency medical personnel treated one resident on the scene for mild smoke inhalation, while no critical injuries were immediately reported among emergency personnel.

To overcome limited hydrant infrastructure in the rural sector, emergency crews established continuous water shuttle operations using specialized tenders.
