Indonesia Says Six Killed, More Than 120 Missing After Ferry Capsizes off Java

At least six people have died and about 130 remain missing after the passenger ferry Virgo Transport 8 capsized in severe weather in the Java Sea, Indonesian officials said. The vessel was carrying 243 people from Surabaya to Banjarmasin when contact was lost. More than 100 passengers have been rescued, while ships and a helicopter search the area. Authorities have not determined whether weather, technical problems, or human error caused the accident. Families gathered at center as rescue efforts continued.
