In August 2025, I began to seriously notice and learn about the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Before that, I only watched short videos on TikTok about the future potential of XRP. Those videos sparked my curiosity, but my real interest started when I discovered the X application (formerly Twitter).
After installing X on my phone, I began following XRP-related accounts and reading news updates daily. As I continued learning, I discovered that there was something called the XRP Ledger. This immediately raised questions in my mind: How is it possible that there is XRP, and there is also XRPL? What is the difference between XRP and the XRP Ledger?
Driven by curiosity, I started doing my own research. I learned that XRPL stands for XRP Ledger, which is a decentralized, open-source blockchain designed for fast, low-cost digital payments and asset transfers. XRP, on the other hand, is the native digital asset used on the XRP Ledger. Understanding this distinction helped everything begin to make sense.
As I became more familiar with XRPL, I started seeing posts on X that talked about trading tokens and earning opportunities on the XRP Ledger. Some posts included links that guided users on where to trade and how to invest in different projects.
I clicked on several of these links and took time to study how everything worked. I learned about decentralized trading, tokens, and projects built on XRPL. When I finally decided to begin my trading journey, the platform asked me to choose a wallet—a place to store and display the tokens I invested in.
There were many wallets available, but after researching carefully, I chose the Xaman wallet (formerly XUMM). I found it reliable, secure, and easy to use for interacting with the XRP Ledger.
Once I felt confident in my understanding, I started trading and investing in tokens such as BXE, REAL, XLM, XDC, HBAR, and others. I focused especially on project-based tokens like BXE, associated with BanxChange Media, and REAL, connected to RealFi. These are the projects I chose to invest in because I believe in their vision and long-term potential.
This journey—from watching short videos to understanding XRPL and actively trading—has been a valuable learning experience for me. Using the Xaman wallet has played an important role in helping me participate confidently in the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
