JERUSALEM — A missile fired by Hezbollah reportedly struck an Israeli satellite communications station near the city of Beit Shemesh, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing exchange of fire between Israel and the Lebanon-based group.
According to Israeli security sources, the missile was launched from southern Lebanon and traveled deep into central Israel before impacting the satellite facility. The installation is believed to play a role in military communications and data transmission used by Israeli defense forces.
