Haverford College associate professor Guangtian Ha was charged with felony cyberstalking after allegedly sending about 50 threatening messages to a colleague over social media, according to court documents. Prosecutors allege the messages, sent through anonymous accounts between October 2025 and May 2026, included antisemitic language and exposed the colleague’s home address and child’s name. Ha was on sabbatical and not teaching this academic year. The college placed him on administrative leave and barred him from campus while the criminal case proceeds. The allegations have not been proven in court.
