German authorities have transferred far-right activist Marla-Svenja Liebich to a men’s prison after her extradition from the Czech Republic. The 55-year-old, formerly known as Sven, had legally changed her gender entry to female in 2025. Although she was initially taken to a women’s prison in Chemnitz, officials later moved her to Zeithain, citing prisoner safety. Saxony’s justice ministry said the decision followed discussions with Liebich and a medical examination, while critics called it provocative.
