Nearly 200 countries at the UN biodiversity summit in Yerevan agreed on an action plan to accelerate nature protection, but failed to resolve how to expand funding. Governments renewed the goal of protecting 30% of land and seas by 2030, while donor and non-donor nations remained divided over who should contribute.
