From Hospital to Handcuffs: Woman Arrested for Setting Sembawang HDB Flat Ablaze

SINGAPORE — What initially appeared to be a harrowing residential rescue quickly turned into a criminal investigation on Monday evening, June 29, 2026 after a fire broke out in a Sembawang Housing & Development Board (HDB) flat.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at Block 512 Wellington Circle at approximately 5:15 PM.
