Two French television channels apologized after misidentifying footage of protests in Albania as scenes from France. CNEWS labeled images from Tirana as a march in Paris, where demonstrators were protesting school funding and rising living costs. A presenter later said the newsroom had confused the images. Public broadcaster Franceinfo also aired footage from Tirana while describing it as live coverage from Lyon; its presenter corrected the report three minutes later. The mix-ups occurred during demonstrations across France. Police made 1,314 arrests, the Interior Ministry said Sunday.
