A former senior commander in Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Lieutenant General Ali Al-Naseeh Al-Qala, has been transferred to a military hospital in Omdurman after his health deteriorated in custody, his family said. They reported he suffered shortness of breath and mobility problems for more than a week and that military intelligence delayed responding to repeated requests for medical care. Al-Qala was arrested by military intelligence on January 25, 2025, and this is his third hospitalization.
