The first trailer for Tangles has arrived, previewing the hand-drawn animated film ahead of its U.S. theatrical release on January 22, 2027. Based on Sarah Leavitt’s graphic memoir Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer’s, My Mother and Me, the story follows Sarah, an artist who returns home to care for her mother, Midge, as Alzheimer’s alters her personality. Abbi Jacobson voices Sarah, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Midge. The cast also includes Bryan Cranston, Beanie Feldstein and Seth Rogen.
