First HyPrSpace Baguette One Launch Slips to 2027

French launch startup HyPrSpace has postponed the inaugural flight of its Baguette One suborbital rocket from 2026 to 2027. The mission will launch from the DGA Essais de missiles test site at Biscarrosse in southwestern France, marking a significant step for private spaceflight from mainland French territory. The 10-metre rocket can carry up to 300 kilograms and uses hybrid propulsion combining liquid oxygen with solid polyethylene fuel. It will support microgravity research, hypersonic experiments, and development of HyPrSpace’s orbital launcher.
