A fire broke out on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City during Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks display, local media reported. ABC7 New York said the fire started at about 9:30 p.m. on the Manhattan-bound side of the bridge, and video footage captured the flames as fireworks were set off. The fireworks show was scheduled to begin at 9:02 p.m., officials said, with the display including more than 85,000 fireworks in dozens of colors.
