FIR Against UP Woman Over Modi Remarks During CJP Protest

Police have registered a zero FIR against a woman in Noida, reportedly from Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly making “abusive and objectionable” remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar on July 23. The complaint alleged the language hurt the dignity of the office and could disturb public peace. The case was filed under sections related to insult to provoke breach of peace, public mischief, and criminal defamation under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
