A majority of Filipinos expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s performance on controlling prices and addressing corruption, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey.
The poll found that rising costs of basic goods and services remain the top concern for many households, with respondents saying government measures have not been enough to ease inflation’s impact on daily life. Public frustration was also evident over corruption, as many believe the issue continues to undermine governance and economic progress.
Despite some approval in other areas, the survey results suggest that price stability and anti-corruption efforts are key weaknesses affecting public trust. Analysts note that these concerns could influence public sentiment and political dynamics in the coming months.
Pulse Asia said the findings reflect widespread economic anxiety, particularly among low- and middle-income families who feel the burden of higher prices most acutely.
