A ferry carrying 116 passengers and 17 crew sank off the coast of Guyana after departing Georgetown, officials said. A distress call was received late Saturday, triggering a rescue operation near Iron Punt involving government teams and private boats. So far, 67 people have been rescued, including 15 children.
