MELBOURNE, Australia — A residential dispute over a parking space descended into shocking violence late Saturday evening, October 3, 2026 leaving a 12-year-old girl dead and three adults hospitalized with gunshots in one of Melbourne's outer-suburban neighborhoods.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. following reports of multiple gunshots echoing down a quiet residential street. Upon arrival, paramedics and police officers discovered four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds outside a cluster of townhouses.
