Following the verdict, crowds left Pristina’s main square and marched toward the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. Protesters carried Kosovo and KLA flags, chanting slogans supporting Hashim Thaçi and the former commanders. Local reports also said explosions were heard near Skënderbej Square, though the circumstances were initially unclear. The sentences ranged from 13 to 25 years for Rexhep Selimi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Thaçi. Defense teams can appeal the first-instance ruling, leaving the case unresolved for now
