From March 1 to July 15 (137 days), solar installations helped lower gas import demand by avoiding billions of cubic meters of fuel purchases. Solar delivered average savings of €146 million per day, with the trade body arguing the results highlight the security and price-shielding value of homegrown renewable electricity.
