Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has put cabinet ministers and officials through military training, saying it can instill discipline, teamwork and leadership skills. Photos show Ahmed participating in exercises with officials at the Hurso military training centre. Participants include Speaker of the House of Federation Muferiat Kamil, Finance Minister Fitsum Assefa and Health Minister Mekdes Daba. It is unclear when the training began or how long it will last. The initiative comes amid conflict in Tigray, Amhara and Oromia, and heightened tensions with neighbouring Eritrea.
