Elon Musk’s social media activity ahead of SpaceX’s IPO focused more on UK politics—specifically race and immigration—than on his aerospace company, according to a Guardian analysis.
The paper reviewed Musk’s posts, replies, and reposts on X between May 31 and June 12, and found that he mentioned race and immigration in the UK at roughly twice the frequency of SpaceX during the same period.
The analysis was presented as evidence of how much Musk, who is primarily based in the United States, appeared willing to “interfere” in British political debates while the IPO was underway.
